Quick Takes: News You Can Use From HR

- Form 1095-C, verifying health insurance coverage, is a necessary form for filing income taxes. This year, the 1095C form will be made available online through the University's benefits portal,
Benefit Solver, by January 31. Find the link to the portal here: Members of SEIU will receive hard copies of the form, hand-delivered by supervisors on or before January 31.

- To get an electronic version of your W2 form, also needed for filing income taxes, sign the consent form on the University's portal,

- The Health and Wellness Committee ( is planning its annual Health and Wellness fair and biometric screening for the fall of 2017, rather than the spring. In conjunction with the fair, a flu vaccine clinic will also be offered.

- The deadline for submitting flexible spending account claims for reimbursement is March 30, 2017, for expenses incurred in the 2016 calendar year. If you have unspent money from 2016, you may roll over up to $500 of those funds into the 2017 year. Funds in excess of $500 are forfeited.  Claims may be made online at or via the Lifetime Benefits Solutions mobile app. (Instructions for first-time login are here:
