Seed to Table Internship Informational Session
Interested in working at SLU's student-run garden this
summer?
Come to the Seed to Table Internship Informational Session on February 27th
at noon or 5pm in Student Center room 333.
Seed to Table is a student run garden designed to give students the experience of growing sustainable food. The garden provides fresh vegetables to Dana Dining Hall and the Campus Kitchens Project, a program that uses food from the dining halls to provide a free meal to community members. The Seed to Table Garden provides a space on campus for students to build an environmental community, learn sustainable living skills, and connect with other community members. The Seed to Table summer internship allows students to care for the garden, increase community connections, and learn about sustainable living, community structure, and local food systems.
The Seed to Table Garden is supported by the Mellon Initiative.
