Come enjoy an afternoon of activities celebrating autumn in the North Country. Three great events, Oktoberfest, Pumpkin Palooza and Monster Mash, have all come together to provide you a myriad of activities for all ages. Please check out the listing of events below!

All the events will be held outside in front of the Sullivan Student Center beginning at 1:00 p.m. In the case of bad weather the majority of the activities below will be moved inside the Sullivan Student Center with the Theme Dinner to be hosted inside Dana Dining Hall.

1:00-4:00 p.m. CHAINSAW CARVING DEMONSTRATION- sponsored by Oktoberfest
Watch as Terry McKendree demonstrates the art of chainsaw carving

1:00-4:00 p.m. LOCAL FARMERS EXHIBITION- sponsored by Oktoberfest
Chat with North Country farmers and see some of the food they grow

1:00-4:00 p.m. APPLE CIDER PRESSING- sponsored by Oktoberfest
Try your hand at pressing your own cider

1:00-4:00 p.m. CROSSCUT SAWING- sponsored by Oktoberfest
Grab a partner and try to cut logs using a traditional crosscut saw

2:00-5:00pm WAGON RIDES - sponsored by Oktoberfest
Take a ride around campus in a horse drawn hay wagon

4:00-6:00pm PUMPKIN PALOZZA - sponsored by the Class Councils
FREE Pumpkin Panting for the entire SLU Community, brought to you by the Class of 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Class Councils. Fun for all ages! Come paint and take home a pumpkin to decorate and spread Halloween spirit, while enjoying some light refreshments.

4:00-6:00pm MONSTER MASH - sponsored by the Panhellenic Council
Kids and people of all ages can come and get the perfect Halloween mask painted on their face at the face painting station. Others can race against the time to dress the best mummy or take part in the relay to get their Halloween character across the finish line first. Costumes are highly encouraged!

4:00-6:00pm LIVE BAND "CULLENS CROSS" - sponsored by Oktoberfest
Listen to the sounds of Cullens Cross, Northern NY's original Irish rock band

4:00-6:00pm BEER GARDEN - sponsored by Oktoberfest
Come enjoy a glass of beer or wine out on the lawn. Beer-$4 Wine-$5

4:00-7:30 OKTOBERFEST THEME DINNER - sponsored by Oktoberfest
Dine on local Oktoberfest themed food at a Dana theme dinner. Cash Price- $9.75

Oktoberfest is student led initiative organized by members of the Outing Club, the Greenhouse, the Women's Resource Center and was funded by the SLUSAF contingency fund through Thelmo.
