NEWS FLASH!

Focus the Nation Planning TeamĀ

Friday, February 1st 7pm

Community Forum

Gulick Theater, St. Lawrence University

We invite you to participate in a discussion on climate change action sponsored by the members of the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley: Clarkson University, St. Lawrence University, SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam.

Focus the Nation is a national day of teach-ins on global warming science, climate change impacts and realistic solutions. All of the Associated Colleges have planned individual events that highlight the knowledge of their students, faculty and staff and their personal relationships with the local community. The impact of these teach-ins will be magnified by the collimation of their questions and suggestions during the Community Forum. The goal of the forum is to discuss the creation and implementation of tangible actions on climate change with politicians, community members and academic institutions (high school and college).
