Dr. Joseph Kling received a Master of Social Work Degree from Rutgers University, and a Ph. D. in Political Science from the City University of New York. He has co-edited two volumes dealing with the relation between class, community, and political action. The first is Dilemmas of Activism: Class, Community, and the Politics of Local Mobilization with Prudence S. Posner, published by Temple University Press. The second is Community Mobilization in the Era of Global Cities with Robert Fisher, published by Sage. *Dr. Kling teaches courses in American Government, American Political and Social Thought, and Public Policy. In 2006-2007 he directed the St. Lawrence University program in London.*
