Beginning Fall Semester 2008, Christopher D. Buck will be Assistant Professor of Government at St. Lawrence University. His research in political theory focuses on Marx, the Frankfurt School, and environmental politics. He will receive his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, where he has taught courses on critical theory, the history of political thought, and environmental political theory. At St. Lawrence he also plans to offer courses on political economy and the environment, aesthetics and politics, and utopian political thought.
