SLU Students Form Mock Trial Team

Under the leadership of Bradon Toomey, a group of St. Lawrence students have formed the University's first competitive mock trial team. The team will compete in the American Mock Trial Association regional  tournament this February. To prepare for the regionals, the group will travel to Colgate University to observe an invitational tournament this November. SLU Mock Trial team members include Bradon Toomey (Captain), Jennifer Nweji, Rachael Snow, Pamela Swanson, Christopher Walek and Matthew Winer. The team is thrilled to have the new St. Lawrence County Public Defender Mary Rain as their attorney coach and hopes to involve other members of the local bar. Assistant Professor of Government Darby Morrisroe serves as educator coach.
