Jim Michaels joined the University in January 2006. In his current position as the Associate Director for Parent Leadership Giving, Jim works with the Parents Committee and with parents of both current students and alumni. Jim works closely with the parent volunteer group in the fund raising effort focused on parent giving. He organizes and staffs regional summer sendoff receptions for incoming students and assists in planning and staffing Family Weekend events related to parent leadership giving. Jim visits with parents primarily in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
Jim and his wife, Mary, live in Morristown and have two grown sons.
