Frank Valadez ’07, from Clayton, NY, is grateful that Shel Johnson has such vision.

The global studies major asserts that he would not be attending St. Lawrence without the Johnson Scholarship, and that would be a loss to St. Lawrence.

Frank is a member of the offensive line on the Saints football team and participates in SLU Buddies, which works with local at-risk youth. He is also president of the Caribbean Latin American Studies Student Organization.  

“I would love the chance to thank Mr. and Mrs. Johnson for their scholarship,” says Frank.
