A human resources coordinator for Guy Carpenter & Co., last spring Brigid came to campus for a panel discussion for the Senior Transition Series (link), which helps prepare seniors for their transition to life after college. She also supports recent graduates by giving advice about moving to the city or navigating the business world.

Her efforts strengthen the alumni network (link), a resource Hayes benefited from herself. She got her job through a St. Lawrence alumni connection, and has found the network invaluable for meeting people and “getting perspective on the working world.” She says St. Lawrence honed her communication skills, which are a critical asset in business.
