An Internet Map Server, or IMS, is a collection of hardware and software that allows GIS Layers to be interactively queried and displayed over the internet. Our IMS is powered by ESRI's ArcIMS Software.

General Biology Viewer
This site provides access to a number of datasets near the SLU campus for General Biology students. Students can view their area of interest, print maps and explore the nearby geology, vegetation and trail network.

Ecology of Lakes and Rivers
Provides watershed and lake information for two of the major lakes of St. Lawrence County, Cranberry Lake and Black Lake.

Geologic Outcrop Data Repository and Map Server
With content focused (initially) on classic localities in the North Country of New York, this website is designed to provide you with the opportunity to explore and learn about the geology behind a range of outcrop exposures in this area. The main page has more details.

Surficial Geology of Northern New York
This map service provides access to geology information, aerial photography and USGS topography for northern New York. Common sites for study are clearly marked.
