Bryan Tolcser and Kira Krumhansl

The Spatial Analysis Lab houses a variety of GPS receivers that are available for checkout to the SLU community. The Lab also has a computer with GPS Pathfinder Office software for communicating with the receivers and planning your data collection.  Personal and classroom instruction in the use of the receivers is available by contacting the GPS Technicians or Carol Cady.

Geoexplorer3Trimble GeoExplorer3
A small but powerful unit, the Geo3 is capable of 3 - 5 meter accuracy after post processing. An older unit, the Geo3 is still valuable for carrier phase data collection and its rugged design.
