The Elberty Laboratory for Spatial Analysis is the principal location for GIS and GPS instruction. Located on the top floor of Launders Science Library, the Lab hours are the same as those of the Science Library. The Elberty Lab for Spatial Analysis is dedicated in memory of William T. Elberty Jr., Professor Emeritus of Geology and Geography. More information about Bill Elberty and GIS at SLU can be found here.

GIS software ArcGIS 9 and Arcview 3.3 are also available in the following locations:
Madill Hall Computing Lab- This lab houses 20 machines with GIS software and is open 24 hours a day to SLU students.
ODY Room 140b- This lab has seats for 24 students and is equipped with a projector and Smartboard. To reserve room 140b, check the ODY room schedule and contact Theresa O'Reilly.
