Student and faculty present at NE GSA meeting in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Students and faculty of the Department of Geology presented at the 49th annual meeting of the Northeastern Section of the Geological Society of America.  Student presenters included: Sam Hecklau, Roselyne Laboso, Thomas Lockwood, Greg Miller,  and Saddie Serviss.  Greg and Saddie were supervised by Dr. Alexander Stewart.  Dr. Chiarenzelli worked with Roselyne and Sam. Thomas Lockwood worked with Dr. Antun Husinec and Dr. William Arnott of Ottawa University in Canada.   Their research covered topics ranging from the geology of the Adirondack High Peaks region, the geochemistry of local rivers, Neoproterzoic turbidte deposits, glacial striae, and dendrochronology.  Titles.
