Professor Husinec participated in a 2-day workshop organized by the National Science Foundation at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.

The workshop entitled EarthCube Cyberinfrastructure for Sedimentary Geology involved more than sixty sedimentary geologists from academic, industry and government (federal and state) with a goal of identifying and articulating the cyber infrastructure needs and applications specific to sedimentary geology. The aim of EarthCube is to transform the conduct of research by supporting the development of community-guided cyberinfrastructure to integrate data and information for knowledge management across the Geosciences.
