Catherine Heinrich Daneland and Greenland, 2014

Over a weekend Catherine's class traveled around the oh-so-flat coast of DK and saw some pretty cool places. The first pic is some sand that looked purple because of the garnet, 2nd you can see some sediment layers from the younger and older dryas, the 3rd is a handful of belemnite fossils she found on the beach, 4th is just a pretty rock that eroded into some limestone/flint, 5th is the cliff of Mons, 6th is Catherine with cliffs and Baltic behind her, 7th is her hand touching the fish clay from the KT boundary, and the last is a limestone quarry.
