Attention Vermont Residents:
As a resident of Vermont, you have the option to borrow your Federal Stafford
Loan through Vermont Student Assistance Corp. (VSAC). VSAC was created in
1965 as a public nonprofit agency to help Vermonters who want to go to college.
VSAC provides grants, loans, scholarships, career and education planning,
and general information. By borrowing your Federal Stafford Loan through
VSAC you have access to their borrower benefits reserved for Vermonters.
For more information on VSAC's borrower benefits please visit www.vsac.org,
or call 800-798-8722 or 802-655-4050.
If you would like to borrow your Federal Stafford Loan through VSAC, please
print a copy of a blank Master Promissory Note (MPN) from the following link: Blank
MPN. It is important that you fill out the MPN completely and legibly.
An incomplete and/or illegible MPN may delay the disbursement of your Federal
Stafford Loan funds. Once you have completed the MPN please return it the
St. Lawrence University. At that point we will certify your loan, and forward
your MPN to VSAC. For reference, VSAC's lender code is 830075, and guarantor
code is 750. Your completed MPN should be mailed to:
