The following billing information is provided for a quick reference. For complete information regarding this topic, please refer to the Catalog.

One-half of the annual charge is billed in July and one-half in December, with payment due in mid-August and mid-January, respectively. Bills are mailed to the students' parents or legal guardians unless the University receives instruction to the contrary.

Tuition and fee payments to St. Lawrence University may be made in cash or by check. Payments may also me made online via credit card or electronic check at https://www.applyweb.com/public/login?s=stlawiwt. Please note that payers will be charged a convenience fee equal to 2.25% of the amount paid online.

All charges must be paid on the respective August and January due dates for each semester; the exact date is printed on the bill. Charges for summer sessions are due the day of registration. Charges for graduate courses will be billed mid month for the courses you registered for within the past 30 days. Delinquent balances after these due dates are assessed interest of one percent per month.

The University has a time payment plan administered by Tuition Management Systems (www.afford.com)which allows payments for undergraduate tuition and fees pertaining to the regular academic year to be made over a period of time up to one year. The plan, which offers flexibility in both the timing and method of payment, carries no finance charges, but does require an administration fee. Fees approved for the 2004-2005 academic year are as follows.

• 10 payment plan - $55
• 9 payment plan - $65
• 8 payment plan - $75

Information about the plan is mailed to students in late spring.
There are also numerous financing options available for educational expenses. Many lenders have several products to assist families with the expenses not covered by financial aid. St. Lawrence University will send a partial summary of these options to students during the summer prior to the start of the academic year.
