New International Student Applicants
The financial aid application process for international students is fairly straightforward. St. Lawrence University will automatically send you via email the foreign student aid application and Certificate of Finances if you indicate on your admissions application an interest in being considered for financial assistance. It is also available for you to print from this site (Certificate of Finances). It is very important to note that your initial Certificate of Finances form does not need bank signatures or documents. You will be informed later on in the applicaiton process when a final Certificate of Finances may be required.

We offer both merit and need-based grants and scholarships for international students. Student employment opportunities and a small number of student loans are also available. Please be aware that St. Lawrence University merit and grant awards are very competitive.

The deadline for processing the Foreign Aid application for first year students is February 1st. Applications received after that date will be considered as funding allows.

The completed form needs to be submitted to the Financial Aid Office on or before April 15, 2013. Late applicants will be considered as funding permits.
