St. Lawrence offers 32 intercollegiate athletic teams and more than 31% of our students compete on at least one team. All of these teams, except men's and women's ice hockey, compete in Division III of the NCAA. The NCAA strictly prohibits the awarding of athletic scholarships for Division III athletes; in fact, a student's athletic involvement and talent cannot be considered when awarding merit scholarships or need-based financial aid. The only athletic scholarships available at St. Lawrence are for men's and women's ice hockey.
