Welcome to the Facilities Operations Website!

The mission of the department of facilities operations is to provide St. Lawrence University with safe, clean, attractive, and well maintained facilities, while providing quality services to students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a responsive, caring, and efficient manner.  The work of the staff of facilities operations directly supports the mission of St. Lawrence University and its commitment to providing an inspiring and demanding undergraduate liberal arts education.  By working with pride and respect for others, the management and staff continually strive to exceed customer expectations for the responsible maintenance and continual improvement of the physical resources of the University.

Facilities operations is located off Park Street toward the outer edge of campus and can be visited during normal business hours of 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the academic year.  You may also call the facilities operations department at 315-229-5601.  There are five work groups within the facilities operations department: administration/office, central plant, custodial, grounds, and skilled trades.  To learn more about each work group and the services they provide, click on physical plant on the menu bar.
