Facilities Home Blueprint Information
To open a blueprint...
Go to "Blueprints" located on the menu bar, click, scroll through the list of buildings and areas, and then double click on the appropriate folder. Please note that some of the folders are still under construction.
Scroll through the file name(s) of blueprint(s). Please note that the icons located on the maps change to the actual blueprint. Then double click on the blueprint you wish to view.
If the blueprint is blurry and/or is difficult to read, click the "Actual Size" icon (Ctrl+A), which is located on the bottom menu bar. This will allow you to receive a clearer view.
If you want to save the blueprint to a disk or a computer, click on the "Copy To" icon (Ctrl+S) which is located on the bottom menu bar, choosing the destination and file name. Keep in mind that most of these blueprints are too large to save on a floppy disk.
If you would like to print a copy of the blueprint, follow the standard printing procedure. Remember you can only print to the paper size designated in your printer. Printing may be delayed due to the size of the file.
If a larger, and in most cases more readable copy of the blueprint is required, please contact facilities operations at extension 5601 and indicate the building or area name with the file name. The standard blueprint sizes are the following:
8.5"x 11"
11"x 17"
17"x 22"
22"x 34"
28"x 40"
34"x 44"
Once requested, please allow 24 hours before the blueprint(s) can be available for pickup at facilities operations office. If you have any questions, please contact facilities operations at extension 5601.
