Workplace Bullying: Legal, Behavioral, and Operational Considerations
We now know that workplace bullying is directly tied to low morale, reduced productivity, and physical, as well as psychological, injuries to employees. In some instances, workplace bullying has transformed into workplace violence. Conflict among co-workers is not necessarily bullying. We hope this seminar will highlight the difference between daily exchange of differing opinions and bullying.
This session will define workplace bullying from a legal perspective and discuss the legal obligations to create and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, free from bullying and violence. Additionally, strategies for addressing and preventing workplace bullying will be discussed.
