Economics Visiting Speaker Series Welcomes Steven Medema
St. Lawrence University's Department of Economics will host Steven Medema, distinguished professor of economics at the University of Colorado Denver, as part of its visiting speaker series in political economy.
Medema's lecture will examine the career and intellectual legacy of Ronald H. Case, who is widely known, and somewhat incorrectly recognized, as the scholar who gave the theorem that bears his name. Moreover, Course's contributions to economics were wide-ranging and often fundamentally at odds with the ways that economists tend to go about their business.
The lecture will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 21, in St. Lawrence's Hepburn Hall Auditorium.
