My St. Lawrence Experience: My experience at St. Lawrence far exceeded my expectations.  The program at SLU afforded me the opportunity to continue to grow as an educator and to develop my skills as an educational leader, all while working full time and caring for my young family.  Each instructor and professor I encountered were currently sitting or former administrators, all of whom shared a common goal of ensuring authentic and meaningful experiences in the currently challenging educational climate.  Even after securing my first administrative position, my connections at SLU continue to prove a major contributor to my ongoing professional development.  I am currently a member of the most recent Principals’ Academy (co-sponsored by SLU and SLL BOCES), which enables local leaders to learn and support one another during the school year.  This partnership between the university and the local academic community is a true testament to its commitment to the future of our profession.  As you can see, I am extremely proud to be a member of the SLU alumni family.
