My St. Lawrence Experience: "I was fortunate to have served as a Graduate Assistant to Dr. James Shuman during the 2007-2008 school year. We co-taught the EDUC 301 course, Principles of Secondary Teaching. This was a tremendous opportunity to work with someone who was so well-versed in theory and the science of teaching as well as share experiences with a man who is a consummate professional. My experiences at St. Lawrence were rewarding professionally, but also personally. Many of the administrators in the North Country are products of SLU's Educational Leadership Program creating an informal network among the group."
