December grad Dipesh Mainali completes honors thesis

Dipesh Mainali graduated with honors in economics in December. The title of his thesis is CHINA ENERGY: An Economic Study of the Chinese Energy Policy. Dipesh is currently employed with EMC in Hopkinton, Massachusetts and will return to campus in May to receive his diploma at graduation ceremonies.

Dr. Del Rossi in U. of Delaware Athletics Hall of Fame

Dr. Alison Del Rossi was inducted into the University of Delaware Athletics Hall of Fame. "Alison Farrance (Del Rossi) epitomized the term “Student-Athlete” during her career as a standout track and field performer at Delaware during the mid-1980’s." SLU enters first Fed Challenge Team

Tara Akstull, Carson Duggan, Tegh Kapur, Katie Palmer, Rob Tole and Yilun Wang represented St. Lawrence in this year's College Fed Challenge at the University of Rochester. The College Fed Challenge is intended to help students become more knowledgeable about the Fed and the decision-making process of the Federal Open Market Committee, the Federal Reserve's monetary policy-setting group. Peter Boettke to speak on Adam Smith Tue 10/21@8pm

The Department of Economics Visiting Speaker Series in Political Economy welcomes Dr. Peter J. Boettke of the Department of Economics at George Mason University.  Dr. Boettke will be speaking Tuesday October 21st at 8pm in Hepburn Auditorium.  His topic is "Adam Smith, the 20th Century Economy and 21st Century Economics."
