Dr. Jeffrey Young elected to History of Economics Society position.
Professor of Economics Jeffrey Young, a noted scholar of Adam Smith's writings, has been elected to a three-year term as a member of the executive committee governing the History of Economics Society.
Elected president of the History of Economics Society was Syracuse University economist Jerry Evensky. Professor Evensky spoke at St. Lawrence earlier this spring semester as part of our lecture series celebrating the 250th anniversary of the publication of Adam Smith's The Theory of Moral Sentiments.
