I remember the exact moment when I knew St. Lawrence was for me.
I visited campus and met with an Admissions counselor, who told me all the ways I could shape my own experience here. On my tour, as we weaved between the beautiful historical buildings throughout campus, our student tour guide talked about the many connections he has made thanks to St. Lawrence’s network. But it wasn’t until I chose to do an overnight visit – a chance for me to meet so many more people, see so much more of campus, and eat a few meals (the Mac & Cheese Bites sold me!) – that I knew I could see myself here.
St. Lawrence quickly became my first choice. I applied Early Decision so my college search process was done early and I could enjoy the rest of my senior year of high school without the stress of applying to and waiting to hear from more colleges. For me, I also needed to choose a college that made financial sense for me and my family. Applying Early Decision to St. Lawrence meant I was given priority status for merit-based scholarships and need-based aid, so my top college pick also became my parents’ first choice.
Early Decision at St. Lawrence could be part of your story, too.
