I began my tenure in Thelmo my freshman fall. During my time in Thelmo I held several positions including senator, ACE representative and Canton Community Outreach Chair. Over the three and a half years I noticed a huge need for some sort of position dedicated to diversity and inclusivity on our campus. As a bi-racial student myself I had a huge passion for creating an environment where everyone felt safe and welcomed. With the help of the then-Thelmo Vice President, R. Christopher DiMezzo, I wrote an amendment to create a Diversity Chair position on the junior executive board. After being passed by the senate I chaired the brand new committee my Senior spring. Currently I am pursuing my Masters in Public Relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications but I will always be a Laurentian at heart!
