Shop Talks & Other Workshops
The Shop Talk series offers a forum wherein faculty come together to discuss pedagogy and related classroom issues in workshops and informal discussions led by members of the faculty. Three to four Shop Talks are scheduled throughout each semester.
Shop Talk Series (Word)
The Shop Talk series has provided SLU's faculty with numerous opportunities to get together and discuss teaching issues and strategies, share ideas, and learn from each other. Every time I attend a shop talk I walk away with at least one new thing to try in my classroom and a lot to think about. With topics ranging from experimental grading techniques to facilitating classroom discussion, the Shop Talk series has offered our faculty the opportunity to grapple with important issues that affect our lives on a daily basis.
