August New Faculty Orientation Sessions
This is a two-day orientation program offered in August, prior to the start of classes for all new faculty. Information presented on the first day is intended to familiarize all new faculty with general university services while the second day, focuses primarily on the teaching responsibilities of the new faculty. All new faculty will receive a monthly publication of "The Teaching Professor".
2007 Orientation will be held August 22nd and 23rd at the Center for Teaching and Learning.
Eight follow-up sessions are offered throughout the remainder of the year to help new faculty prepare for upcoming pedagogical responsibilities.
