Poster Design for Scholarship or Course Presentations
Poster Design for Scholarship or Course Presentations
Brown Bag Discussion with Grant Currie, Training Coordinator, Educational Technologies and Michael Schuckers
Associate Professor, Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics & Director, Quantitative Resource Center.
In this workshop we will present methods for designing and creating effective posters. Posters are used both by faculty to present scholarship at conferences but also increasingly by faculty at St. Lawrence as a way for students to describe results of independent or collaborative work. This workshop will take place in two phases. We will first discuss the element of effective poster design and then we will cover explicit methods for creating a poster after it has been designed.
