Samuel is a McNair Scholar interested in studying infectious disease in both animals and humans. After completing his undergraduate degree, he hopes to get a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology, a Ph.D. in Virology, and maybe go to medical or veterinary school in the future. He is currently researching the effects of thyroid hormone and glucocorticoids on post-metamorphic African Clawed froglets and the genetic origins of different colonies of Didemnum vexillum.
