2001 Crimmel Colloquium
The coordinator of the fifth colloquium for the year 2001 is Professor
Chanchal Singh of the Department
of Mathematics. The colloquium is to take place on October
17-18.
Wednesday, October 17, 7:30 p.m., Griffiths Hall Room 123
Dr. Thomas
Coburn, vice president and dean of academic affairs,
will inaugurate the Colloquium.
Professor Bruce Kimball from the Warner Graduate School of Education,
University of Rochester will speak on The Disputed Origins
of Liberal Education and the Origins of Recent Disputes.
Mr. Dinesh DSouza, from the American Enterprise Institute
will speak on The Problem with Multiculturalism.

Lounge
After the lunch, respondents will react to the two lectures delivered
by the speakers on the previous night. Anyone interested in attending
