Maria Pia Paganelli is an assistant professor of economics at Yeshiva University and an associate adjunct professor at New York University. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from George Mason University, and a M.A. and B.A. in political science from Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, Italy. She specializes in the history of economic thought and has an interest in behavioral economics. Her focus is on Adam Smith, David Hume, and 18th century monetary theories.
