Fall Nature Festival at St. Lawrence University

The third annual Fall Nature Festival will be held on Friday October 11th,  2013 from 2:30 pm - 5 pm  at the *Wachtmeister Field Station of the St. Lawrence University campus. Ecology-based activities include geocaching, microscopic views, nature walk, and pumpkin carving and painting.  Nature Up North will also be featuring maple arts and crafts as well as a tasting of local maple syrup.  In the event of rain, all events will take place inside the field station. All ages are welcome and there will be chances to win prizes!

This event is being sponsored by the Alpha Iota chapter of Beta Beta Beta (Biology Honor Society). The goals of the society are  stimulate interest, scholarly attainment, and investigation in the biological sciences, and to promote scientific outreach.  For more information contact the Biology Department at 315-229-5294.

* Directions to the SLU Wachtmeister Field Station: From Main Street in Canton, follow Park Street south approximately 1.1 miles. The field station will be on your left just past the Park Street Bridge.
