In Spring semester 2015, students enrolled in Biology 440, the Conservation Biology capstone course conducted research and produced white papers on topics of relevance in New York including conservation of Bicknell's thrush, conservation of the Common Loon, and conservation of Atlantic Salmon. Other topics included the possible reintroduction of wolves to the Adirondacks/Tug Hill region, protected areas management in St. Lawrence County, and an overview of pesticide and genetically modified organism use among North Country farmers.
