Health Insurance

The cost of student health insurance for the 2011-2012 year is $1,400.00 for non-athletes, and $1,600.00 for athletes (cost includes a $5.00 administrative fee retained by St. Lawrence). Undergraduate students are billed the total premium cost on the fall semester bill. To request an accommodation to be charged for one-half the premium on the fall semester bill and one-half on the spring semester bill, please send an email to sfs@stlawu.edu indicating as such. The health insurance charge will be waived with proof of equivalent coverage through a family plan; waivers must be completed each academic year. Go to the Gallagher Koster website for additional details about the plan, or to complete the waiver process. Waivers must be submitted online by August 10, 2011.
