Outdoor Studies Web Site Outdoor studies has two courses open to first-year students: ODST 100: Outdoor Studies Core Course, offered in the spring semester only; and ODST 101: Modern Outdoor Recreation Ethics, a half-unit course offered in fall and spring. Students wishing to minor in outdoor studies may also select courses in other departments from the list found on our Web page. Please check individual department listings to see which of these courses are available this fall for first-year students.
