The American University is located in a prestigious residential area of northwest Washington, approximately 4 miles from the White House. SLU students participating in the WSP live in triple rooms at the university's Tenley Campus, which is a few blocks from the city's subway system. Students may be housed with SLU students or with students from other colleges.
The Tenley Campus has three residence halls, program classrooms, faculty offices, and a dining hall.
