Globalization is international integration. But not all countries and all people benefit equally from globalization. There are winners and losers. The dynamics between diversity and globalization and its relevance in different regions of world will be examined. The international business and globalization will also be examined, including the ways in which international businesses differ from domestic businesses and how international business growth has accelerated.
Thailand is in the center of the Greater Mekong subregion (GMS) and this course will examine the interdependency in the countries of GMS through globalization including trade and economic development and inter-regional development projects.
