Spain Introduction

Students describe the Spain program as "unforgettable," "wonderful," "challenging," and "unbelievable."

• Fall, Spring, or Academic Year
• In Madrid, with village stays at the beginning of the semester or year
• Must have intermediate-level proficiency in Spanish (completed Spanish 201, 202 at SLU)
• Courses taught in Spanish
• Must take Spanish language course while on the program
• Qualified sophomores, juniors, and seniors from any U.S. college or university can participate • Small classes taught by local university professors
• Field trips to places throughout Spain
• Housing throughout the year is with Spanish families, one student to a family
• Semester-long internship in the springfor academic year participants
