France Eligibility
Fall and Academic-Year
Overall GPA of 2.8 and a 3.0 in French
Students must complete the equivalent of at least one 200-level French Course
Global Francophone Cultures
Students must have completed at least one semester of college French or up to two years of high school French
Sophomores and juniors should have an overall 2.8 at St. Lawrence.
First Year students should have an overall GPA of 2.8 from high school and an indication that they have done, or are doing, good work (3.0) in French.
Admission to the program is based on the quality of application. Candidates must present a rationale for wanting to participate in the France Program and a record of academic performance, social maturity, cultural sensitivity, and responsibility that demonstrates ability to meet the challenges of international study.
Students currently on disciplinary, social, or academic probation are not eligible to apply for, or participate in, this program or any other SLU program. In addition, students with outstanding disciplinary sanctions, service hours and/or education program requirements are not eligible to participate in the program.
