Denmark Orientation
On-campus orientation meetings are intended to prepare students for the challenges and rewards of living and studying in Denmark, and to explain health and safety issues. Students will also receive carious electronic information and forms from DIS which they must complete and submit in a timely manner.
The first week in Copenhagen is Orientation Week. Students will be introduced to DIS, to Copenhagen, to Denmark and to all the facets of being an international student. Also, students are given some initial Danish instruction to help them get around during the first few days and to prepare them for the regular Danish language course they will take during the academic semester. Students meet with the Academic Counselors to finalize their class schedules and receive a complete set of textbooks for their courses during Orientation Week.
Students are required to participate in all orientation activities - on campus and in Copenhagen.
