Czech Republic Introduction
St. Lawrence is proud to announce a new partner program in the Czech Republic through CIEE.
This is a Fall only Program for students interested in the Czech Republic and Central European politics, social and or economic transformation.
Students will study in Prague at the CIEE Study Center located in Vyšehrad. With a population of 1.2 million and an infinite number of spectacular steeples, Prague is best known as the hundred towered city. The newly joined EU member state is an ideal case study of a society transitioning from its communist past. Students will take courses taught by faculty from Charles University and supplemented by prominent guest lecturers in the political, economic, religious, and social sectors. Students will also participate in fieldtrips and activities as part of their classes. All students will live in homestay families on this program.
