Program Details

CIEE draws students' attention to the fact that the Czech educational system is quite different than the one in the U.S. and that to be successful student must be self-motivated, willing to learn independently and participate actively in class.

St. Lawrence University students must:

• Enroll in a Czech language course
• Enroll in a full course load of 16 credits, including the required language course

In addition to the language course, students enroll in 12 credits of electives 6 of which must be in area studies.
