Cortona Introduction
The program, based in Cortona in the Arrezo province of Italy, hosts approximately 50 students per semester. The program is designed to provide the serious student with a combination of international travel and an intensive period of studio and classroom work. All courses are held on the UGA Cortona campus, where students choose 9 credits of electives from a variety of studio courses besides the required art history course. Visits by artists and lecturers supplement regular course instruction.

In addition to coursework, students will have the opportunity to participate in course related field trips, weekend field trips, and cultural activities within the local community.
