The Thai and Southeast Asian Studies program, housed at Payap University, is a separate program within the university, run on an American calendar with courses offered in English and designed for international students from the U.S., Australia and other parts of Asia. Typically about 25 students participate each semester.
Students take 6 credits of Thai language, a 3-credit course on ‘Foundations of Thai Culture'' (which includes field trips and rural home stays); a 1-credit course on intercultural study; and 2 electives. Students must take a minimum of 15 credits, the equivalent of a semester at St. Lawrence.

Thai Fine Arts
Students will be able to get credit in Asian Studies, Modern Languages, Global Studies, and probably in history, government, or fine arts (all courses still need departmental approval).
