New application deadlines
for off-campus programs
Please note:
Starting in the fall, 2009 the new, earlier deadline will be September 10 for applications to off-campus programs. The spring deadline will be February 25.

The reason driving the earlier fall deadline is the increasingly burdensome task of applying for visas. As other countries move to elaborate and expand their requirements for entry, students (not their parents) are required to appear at the consulate in person -sometimes twice!-and/or to submit forms that can take several weeks to generate. In many case, the consulates have added several interium steps in the visa application process.
